The XF2.0x TC WR’s unique construction maintains the optical performance of the original lens, using optimal image quality parameters to achieve exceptional performance and aberration suppression. The aperture becomes two F-stops higher when the teleconverter is attached, and the compatible camera will display and record information reflecting the change in aperture and focal length.
When the XF2.0x TC WR teleconverter lens is attached to a compatible X Mount lens, Phase Detection AF and Contrast Detection AF is still available, achieving accurate focusing at super-telephoto focal lengths with a shallow depth of field through the imaging sensor thanks to the Live View found in Fujifilm mirrorless cameras. Plus, the camera’s image stabilisation performance remains unaffected when the teleconverter is attached.
With a high-grade metal exterior, the XF2.0x TC WR has been designed to fit seamlessly with compatible Fujifilm lenses, appearing as just one single lens.
