BEAM PATTERNS
Princeton Tec’s range of lighting solutions offer various beam patterns. These beam patterns refer to the angle of illumination or angular spread of visible light produced by the device’s reflector lens, and indicates the way in which the device will harness the light generated by the LED diodes. See below for a brief breakdown of each beam pattern Princeton Tec lights have to offer.
Multiple Beams
This beam pattern combines both focused narrow and focused wide beam patterns, offering greater levels of versatility. Used at close range, the the wide beam will simulate normal daylight conditions, whereas the narrow beam will provide better illumination at long distance.
Wide Beam
This beam pattern is best suited to multipurpose activities. The wide beam will simulate daylight conditions at close range, and allow users to take full advantage of their peripheral vision.
Narrow Beam
This beam pattern creates a long and powerful beam of light. Perfect for illumination of distant areas, and excellent for use during fast-paced activities.
