Description
Harnessing the GFX System
The Fujifilm GF30MMF5.6 T/S tilt-shift lens has been designed for use with Fujifilm GFX system cameras. Featuring a 30mm wide-angle focal length and F5.6 aperture, this is the perfect lens for architectural photography — straightening skyscrapers by tilting the lens by 8.5 to correct for parallax, or controlling which landscape details remain in focus by adjusting the shift by 15mm and the lens rotation by 90. This lens is built around the GFX system, providing a resolving power of more than 100 pixels without needing electronic correction for distortion or lateral chromatic aberration. This lens will strongly suppress spherical aberration, coma aberration, and image curvature, producing high resolution images with incredible levels of edge-to-edge detail — even if the tilt function has been used.
The Freedom to Move
The GF30MMF5.6 T/S ensures uncompromising versatility through shift adjustments of ±15mm, providing more dynamic control of perspective.
This intuitive new lens achieves Tilt/Shift adjustments by combining manual adjustments across two mechanisms: Basic Til/Shift Adjustment, altering the direction of tilt and shift functionality by ±90°, and Rotating Tilt/Shoft Adjustment, which allows you to set the direction of the tilt and shift functionality from orthogonal to parallel at 0°, 30°, 60°, and 90°.
Post-Production Made Easy
Using a built-in sensor, the GF30MMF5.6 T/S will communicate with a GFX System camera* to record useful metadata such as the amount of shift and rotation. This metadata can then be recalled when processing RAW files, providing precise data when working with Lens Cast Calibration (LCC).
*Compatible model: GFX100 II.
GFX50S II, GFX100S, GFX100, GFX50R, and GFX50S are planned to be compatible via firmware update (correct as of Nov 2023).
Specially Designed Tripod Mount
The GF30MMF5.6 T/S features a tripod collar that has been specially designed to allow the lens to maintain a consistent modal point when adjusting T/S functions — ensuring images are not thrown off centre once the camera has been adjusted. This tripod collar ensures that this lens remains exactly where it is supposed to be, minimising the amount of editing needed in post-production if they are stitched or composited together.
