This teleconverter lens uses the optimal image quality parameters for the overall characteristics of the original lens and the 1.4x teleconverter lens, providing an excellent image-making performance with impressive aberration suppression even when the focal length is increased by 1.4x. When this teleconverter is mounted, the camera will display and record information reflecting the change in aperture and focal length.
Provides an AF speed equivalent to that of the lens the teleconverter is coupled with, allowing photographers to capture stunning in-focus images at the same speed they are used to. Plus, through the Live View Contrast Detection feature found in Fujifilm mirrorless cameras, shooting at minimum aperture values remains possible despite the F-stop increasing once the teleconverter is mounted. Accurate focusing at super-telephoto focal lengths with a shallow depth of field can be achieves through the camera’s sensor AF capabilities.
Weatherproof and dustproof, the XF1.4X TC WR lens can be used in extreme temperatures and weather conditions when attached to weather-resistant mirrorless cameras, operating in as low as -10°C without being affected.
