The Fujifilm XF27mmF2.8 R WR’s construction is made up of seven elements in five groups, measures a mere 23mm in depth, and weighs in at just 84g, offering the perfect combination of quality and portability.
With the newly designed aperture ring, photographers can externally control the XF27mmF2.8 R WR’s aperture even when the camera is switched off, meaning they can be ready to frame every moment, no matter how fleeting. Plus, a new aperture lock button keeps the lens set to Auto, allowing the user to stay immersed in their composition while the camera works its magic.
Using an internal motor that moves the entire lens group into position, the XF27mmF2.8 R WR autofocus remains fast, precise, and almost silent. The wide F2.8 aperture even allows photographers to capture high-quality images with professional-looking bokeh in low-light conditions.
Includes a small and compact dome-style lens hood that stops any stray light hitting the lens at oblique angles, removing the likelihood of lens flare and other interference occurring, and minimising uneven flash coverage or obstructions to the FOV that occur when using larger hoods. This lens hood also protects the front element against the bumps and knocks that occur during everyday use.
Weather-resistant qualities across its exterior means the XF27mmF2.8 R WR is protected against dust- and moisture-ingress and can be used in any conditions, including adverse weather such as heavy rain. It can even be used in extreme temperatures, remaining operational down to -10°C.
