Description
Enhanced Thermal Detection
The Pixfra Pro TPC-SD5641-T multispectral security camera features an extremely sensitive 640×512, 12µm, ≤35mK NETD thermal sensor, detecting even the smallest heat signature at exceptional distances.
Its uncooled VOx (Vanadium Oxide) sensor is incredibly compact, enabling greater levels of thermal detail when compared to a larger-sized sensor, ensuring this camera achieves better visual information in its observation location. It even offers improved accuracy when gauging temperature measurements — detecting minute temperature changes with ease.
This camera is available with five objective lens configurations, each offering a different detection range and field of view. See below for detection ranges and FOVs in the thermal channel by lens configuration.
Thermal Detection Range by Lens Configuration
- 5 mm: Vehicle: 556 m (1,824.15 ft); Human: 208 m (98.43 ft)
- 9 mm: Vehicle: 1,000 m (3,280.84 ft); Human: 3,750 m (12,303.15 ft)
- 18 mm: Vehicle: 2,000 m (6,561.68 ft); Human: 750 m (2,460.63 ft)
- 25 mm: Vehicle: 2,777 m (9,110.89 ft); Human: 1,042 m (3,418.64 ft)
- 35 mm: Vehicle: 3,889 m (12,759.19 ft); Human: 1,458 m (4,783.46 ft)
FOV in the Thermal Channel by Lens Configuration

Stunning Day & Night-Time Optics
A powerful 2688×1520 CMOS sensor, stunning 4MP camera, and built-in IR illuminator in the visible channel achieves crystal-clear day- and night-time optics; offering 45x optical zoom for instances where closer scrutiny is required. Its added electronic defog function and automatic wiper ensures the images presented via the visible channel remain as in any environmental condition.
Combining this visible channel with the thermal channel enables users to take full observational control over their chosen location and confidently enhance their security/surveillance efforts.
Temperature Measurement Capabilities
The Pro TPC-SD5641-T features built-in temperature measurement capabilities, used to monitor the temperature of equipment in volatile environments such as factories, oil extraction facilities, power plants, or chemical plants; warning users of any anomalies in temperature by way of an alarm, and allowing action to be taken before any overheating can occur. These temperature measurements are customisable, which means the user can set thresholds for alarms.
Temperature measurements can be taken by day and at night, and functions reliably in extreme temperatures between –20 °C to 550 °C (–4 °F to 1022 °F).
AI Functionality Built-In
This multispectral security camera is assisted by a wide variety of AI technologies, used to enhance observation capabilities even further. These options include:
Boat Detection:
Used to identify boats and ships in environments with poor visibility, the boat detection functionality will provide information about the detected vessel, including height, length, speed, distance, etc.
Heat Detection & Alarm:
This feature warns users in the event of temperatures exceeding user-set parameters, alerting them with an alarm and allowing users to identify issues before they are exacerbated.
Tripwire:
The tripwire function lets users to draw a virtual line across the camera’s FOV, alerting them when the line is crossed.
Intrusion Detection:
This feature works similarly to the tripwire function, allowing the user to set a virtual perimeter, and alerting them when this area is encroached. Depending on user settings, intrusion detection can also activate the record and snapshot functions when the perimeter is crossed.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Taking Thermal & Night Vision Outside of the UK.
Thermal imaging and night vision products are strictly controlled by ITAR regulations and are subject to UK Government Export Licensing Regulations. Dependent on specification, a licence may need to be obtained prior to the export, even temporarily (e.g. holiday), from the UK.
Additionally, some countries may be embargoed, and no thermal imagers or night vision devices can be taken or exported to them. It is the responsibility of the exporter, whether it be a company or individual, to ensure that such a licence is obtained.
Failure to comply is a criminal offence.
